National Grid – “Bringing Energy to Life”

National Grid – “Bringing Energy to Life” Corporate Brand Photography

As part of National Grid’s major rebranding initiative, Jason was commissioned to create a powerful suite of corporate brand photography under the theme “Bringing Energy to Life.” The project set out to communicate National Grid’s values of innovation, sustainability, and reliability while placing people at the heart of the story.

Working in close collaboration with National Grid’s in-house brand team, Jason developed a series of images that combined editorial-style authenticity with brand storytelling. The photography ranged from environmental portraits of engineers and technicians on site to reportage imagery that highlighted the scale of energy infrastructure and its role in everyday life.

The resulting library of visuals has been used widely across annual reports, sustainability reporting, marketing campaigns, and internal communications, reinforcing National Grid’s identity as a forward-thinking and community-focused organisation.

By applying his background in reportage and corporate photography, Jason was able to capture imagery that feels both intelligent and human—pictures that reflect the people behind the energy and illustrate the company’s purpose with clarity and imagination.
