In 2012, Jason was commissioned by The Independent to cover the London Olympics. Over three weeks, he photographed the opening and closing ceremonies as well as a wide variety of sporting events, from wrestling to the men’s 100 metres final.

Working as an accredited pool photographer, Jason’s images were distributed across all the UK national newspapers, providing comprehensive coverage of one of the most significant sporting events in British history.

This assignment highlighted Jason’s ability to deliver under pressure at large-scale international events, producing imagery that captured both the spectacle of the Games and the defining moments of sporting achievement.
